We recently purchased this very early attractive sauce ladle from a local home. It is hand made and dated 1805. We feel that it is at least that old. The makers mark is not know to us so we do not know the origin. It is delightful and in very good condition. The ladle measures 7 1/2" in length. We have taken photos for you to see the marking and design of this early sterling ladle. It is in very good condition, even the gold wash in the bowl. There is no reserve on this serving piece.

This special serving piece in pristine condition in the original box. The box is in good condition and even the latch closings (marked Gorham) are in working condition . The bowl of the spoon has the original gold wash and the engraving is in wonderful condition. There is an attractive mono (Lemon)engraves on the figural handle which appears to be the name of the family this wonderful piece was given to. This sterling repousse box was made in Birmingham,England. It was made in 1891(the shield seems to be the wrong shape however) and the maker is unknown to us. We have taken a photo of the mark for you to view. The box measures 2" by 1.5" by 1". The condition is wonderful and the workmanship is excellent. We are happy to be able to offer this treasure.

This unique enameled "Flag" spoon is in wonderful condition. We are so pleased to offer it at this time. The spoon measures 4" in length and was made at the turn of the last century. The detail is just wonderful. We feel that there is no damage to this piece. However when we look at the bowl of the spoon with a 10X power loop we can see some enamel that is not there at the end of the last stripe and one of the stars. It looks like that was in the making. This wonderful Wood & Hughes sterling ladle is in very fine condition. It is the "Angelo" pattern, pat. 1878 is clear and crisp. The length is 13" and the bowl is 3-1/2"wide and 1 1/4" deep, perfect for serving. The original monogram on the back of the handle is crisp which tells us that it is in like new condition.
