This American coin silver coffee set circa 1839 is hallmarked Jones,Lows & Ball.of Boston. This over sized set has no repairs and each piece has a pedestal foot. The coffee pot and sugar have a mono of C&M C Cole(light scrip)and the creamer has a mono removal. The coffee pot measures 11 1/2" tall and 11" from handle to spout. This wonderful American coin silver soup tureen has the hallmark of J.C. Cox,New York 1844. It features a pedestal foot, and an oval hand engraved cartouche (well done mono removal). The applied floral castings(handles and finial) are extremely well done. The piece also has several touch marks which look like French import marks. This sterling sauce boat was made by Frank Smith -Gardner Mass.-before the turn of the last century. It is in great condition and has two sets of monograms (as pictured).The piece measures approximately 5 1/2" L. - 4 1/2" H, - 3 1/2" w. It is well executed and easy to use. This wonderful Victorian perfume measures 3 1/4" by 2 1/4". The body of the overlay perfume has a circular design and a circumference of 2 3/4". The sterling overlay is in mint condition with no breaks or repairs. The screw on sterling top has a cork (as designed) to keep the perfume secure.
