This sterling sauce boat was made by Frank Smith -Gardner Mass.-before the turn of the last century. It is in great condition and has two sets of monograms (as pictured).The piece measures approximately 5 1/2" L. - 4 1/2" H, - 3 1/2" w. It is well executed and easy to use. It is in original condition. The photo of the inside of the piece has room reflections and it is sterling in the interior. It is not gold washed. This wonderful Victorian perfume measures 3 1/4" by 2 1/4". The body of the overlay perfume has a circular design and a circumference of 2 3/4". The sterling overlay is in mint condition with no breaks or repairs. The screw on sterling top has a cork (as designed) to keep the perfume secure. The hinge is perfect and the clear blown bottle is not cloudy. The base is signed "D2099 Sterling Silver". We recently purchased this very early attractive sauce ladle from a local home. It is hand made and dated 1805. We feel that it is at least that old. The makers mark is not know to us so we do not know the origin. It is delightful and in very good condition. The ladle measures 7 1/2" in length. We have taken photos for you to see the marking and design of this early sterling ladle. It is in very good condition, even the gold wash in the bowl. There is no reserve on this serving piece.
